The University of Neuchâtel invites applications for a position of

Full Professor in Applied Economics

Job description: The successful candidate will teach in the Bachelor of Science in Economics program and in the Master of Applied Economics. The tenured person will be interested in the quantitative analysis of economic issues relevant for public entities, including at the regional level. Fields of application will be diverse, with a preference for micro-economic studies in environmental economics, data management and behavioural economics.

Requirements: Candidates should have a PhD in Economics or a related field, strong teaching abilities and a record of publications in leading academic journals or ongoing research with strong potential. A good knowledge of Swiss economic problems would be an advantage. The teaching languages are French and English. Non-French speakers are expected to teach in French after a two-year period.

Starting date: August 1st, 2022 or to be agreed upon.
