The Department of Economics at Oberlin College invites applications for a two-year, full-time non-continuing faculty position in the College of Arts and Sciences. Appointment to this position will be for a term of four total semesters, beginning Fall 2021, and will carry a rank of Visiting Assistant Professor.
Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating successful teaching or scholarly research in industrial organization and microeconomic theory. The successful candidate will teach five courses over the academic year.
Among the qualifications required for appointment is the Ph.D degree (in hand or expected by Fall 2021). Candidates must demonstrate interest and potential excellence in undergraduate teaching. Successful teaching experience at the college level is desirable. The Department and the College are especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research, teaching and/or service.
