The Professor in Econometrics will demonstrate outstanding contributions to teaching, research, service and engagement, through the provision of leadership in the School and University. You will exhibit effective leadership and excellence in a range of settings and roles in addition to demonstrating a sustained record of outstanding international achievement and impact in Econometrics. Exercising research leadership in Econometrics, you will present at key domestic and international conferences and universities, engage in collaborations which yield new insights and opportunities, and successfully obtain and manage significant external research funds. You will act as a mentor to junior academics and researchers in the school, leading research groups within the school.

As a senior stakeholder within the school, you will demonstrate successful coordination of a significant aspect of a program or contribution to the development of teaching within the school. With an ability to teach across different settings and engaging in face-to-face, online and/or blended modes of teaching preparation and delivery; the Professor in Econometrics will be expected to achieve teaching quality and have a record of HDR student supervision to completion. In addition to your teaching and research responsibilities, you will be expected to effectively perform a range of higher-level internal duties and make a strong contribution to the governance and collegial life of the institution.

With expert knowledge in Econometrics you will demonstrate an established track record of publishing in world leading and internationally journals in Econometrics in addition an outstanding citation record. You will demonstrate a high-quality teaching record and evidence of significant teaching innovation and leadership and experience in leading course and program development, as well as evidence of your ability to engage in successful outcome-orientated partnerships at the university and community level. As a senior stakeholder within the school, it is essential that you possess the ability to engage efficiently and effectively in allocated services roles, including leadership responsibilities. A PhD in Economics or a directly related discipline, in addition to evidence of your ability to successfully obtain research grants, is essential.

This is a full-time, continuing position at Academic level E. The base salary will be AUD$189,130, plus super of up to 17%. A market loading may be included where appropriate.
