The School of Economics and Finance at Universidad EAFIT (Medellin-Colombia) is inviting applications for at least 1 and up to 4 full-time tenure track or tenured professors in economics or finance, with salary and rank open, to begin in the Fall-2022.

Applicants must have a PhD by the starting date or shortly thereafter, show promise of a strong research agenda, and passion for teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Applicants from any field are welcome including macroeconomics, applied microeconomics, macrofinance, finance in general and emerging fields.

The School offers generous research budgets on a competitive basis. Teaching assignments are flexible and load reductions are assigned on a competitive basis. Salaries for all ranks are competitive, with generous bonus payments on grants, publications and consultancy. Tenured track professors showing promise in their skills will be offered a permanent contract after a tenure review.
