Digonex serves the pricing needs of clients in attractions and live entertainment through the development of customized algorithms.

Digonex is seeking a candidate with Ph.D. in economics or operations research with a strong background in applied econometrics, statistical methods, industrial organization, and the microeconomics of optimal pricing strategies. The economist will oversee and enhance the implementation of existing algorithms, in addition to developing customized and automated algorithms to optimize pricing.

* Experience developing and implementing demand models and optimization techniques
* Advanced knowledge of Stata, Python and/or R
* Ability to work independently as well as with a team of programmers and project managers
* Effective communication skills

Salary is competitive and will depend on experience. We will start conducting interviews in Fall 2021. We will also interview candidates virtually as part of the AEA meetings in January 2022.
