The Department of Economics at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level starting August 2022. Preference will be given to candidates working in all fields in applied microeconomics and whose research enhances existing areas of strength within the department (clas.ucdenver.edu/economics). Candidates should expect to have a Ph.D. by August 1, 2022.
Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until finalists are identified. To ensure full consideration, application materials must be received by November 26, 2021.
The CU Denver Economics department offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics and master’s and doctorate degrees in health economics. The typical teaching load is four courses per year, with a possible course release in the first year. Salary and start-up packages are competitive, and are commensurate with skills and experience.
