The Department of Economics and Statistics is seeking applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank. An earned doctorate (Ph.D) in Economics, with an emphasis in Macroeconomics or other closely-related area, from an accredited institution (or equivalent) is required. Applicants nearing completion of the doctorate (ABD) may be considered. For appointment, the doctorate degree must be completed by 8/18/2022.
Preferred qualifications include demonstrated teaching/research experience or course work in a secondary field in Applied Quantitative Economics, Econometrics, and/or Data Analytics, and demonstrated record of scholarly research and publication.
