The Kenyon College Economics Department invites aspiring and experienced assistant professors to apply for a new tenure track position named the Wright Family Chair in Economics. This position was created for a scholar whose research and teaching interest lie in the area of Political Economy, Public Choice, the history of economic thought, and New Institutional Economics. The teaching load is five courses per year.
A qualified candidate must have a Ph.D. no later than 7/31/2022, demonstrate an interest in teaching undergraduates, exhibit a promising research agenda in at least one field mentioned above, and show a commitment to creating a classroom environment in which students from a variety of backgrounds can flourish.
