Full Text of JOE Listing:
We are looking for a highly motivated early-career researcher who wants to develop her/his research agenda in an active and internationally visible research group. The successful applicant will want to work on dynamic gen-eral-equilibrium models with household or firm heterogeneity (the “HANK” variety and/or models of overlapping generations). The ideal applicant will already have demonstrated the commensurate skills in her/his doctoral studies in economics or a related field. Expertise in modeling and solving dynamic economies, or otherwise a quantitative/computational background, is a must. The successful applicant will be affiliated with the DFG-funded Collaborative Research Center TR-224, working within the projects of professors Christian Bayer and Keith Kuester. The group has a strong track record as regards the career development of its junior members.
Earliest starting date: January 1st, 2022. A later starting date can be negotiated. The contract will have a fixed term of four years.
