Reporting to the Vice President of Research, the Senior Research Economist conducts original research and analysis on issues related to workforce development and the future of work; employment and earnings; income security and equitable workplace policies; economic mobility and advancement for women and younger workers in the labor market; and child care and the care economy. They are responsible for leading research projects in these core areas, sharing findings at events and conferences, fundraising and managing philanthropic partnerships, and building networks and organizational partnerships in the field. They will also lead the data analytics team at IWPR, work across teams to provide support with data analysis, and develop a strategy for the collection, management, and storage of data at IWPR.
PhD in Economics and at least 10 years of experience in economic research and policy field or Masters in Economics with at least 15 years of experience in the economic research and policy field.
