JHU Carey Business School invites applications for full-time, tenure-track faculty positions in finance. The appointment will begin in August 2022. We welcome applications from candidates motivated by the unique opportunity to participate in building a world-class business school at a premier private university.

The finance group consists of a collegial group of faculty members who are actively publishing in the top finance and economics journals. The group has varied interests across all areas of theoretical and empirical finance including asset pricing, corporate finance, financial econometrics, financial intermediation, FinTech, household finance, international finance, macrofinance, and market microstructure.

Qualified candidates must have:
-A PhD degree in finance or related fields conferred by employment start date.
-Demonstrated strong commitment to academic research in finance and excellence in teaching.

Our faculty teach classes in our MBA, MS, and undergraduate business minor programs. Evidence of successful teaching in a graduate business school environment is desirable but not required.
