Fordham's Economics Department welcomes applications for a Fall 2022 tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level. Preferred candidates will have research and teaching interests in health economics. Our department serves a diverse student body at two campuses in New York City. The ideal candidate is expected to develop an independent research agenda with a focus on health and healthcare in the United States and/or in low- and middle-income countries, and contribute to undergraduate and graduate Economics programs. The ideal candidate may also teach in interdisciplinary programs (e.g. Disability Studies, Health Administration). This position will be based on the Lincoln Center campus in Manhattan.

Tenure at Fordham requires publication in high profile journals and excellent teaching. Candidates with demonstrated research potential and who expect to complete their PhD by August 2022 are encouraged to apply.
