The Department of Economics at Kent State University invites applications for a non-tenure track (NTT) assistant professor position beginning August 2022. This is a continuous, renewable position with a primary emphasis on teaching and some research expectations.
The successful candidate will teach introductory Macro and/or Micro and smaller upper-division or graduate courses depending on the candidate’s area of specialty and departmental needs (e.g., undergraduate intermediate theory courses, upper division electives, M.B.A. courses, or M.A. in Economics courses); preference will be given to candidates who can teach undergraduate applied econometrics.
A Ph.D. in economics by August 2022, is preferred; candidates must have a master’s in economics or be ABD in economics.
