Senior Associate, Portfolio Research
Our Business:
PGIM IAS provides objective, data-informed analysis to help Chief Investment Officers and Investment Committees manage their portfolios. IAS publishes research reports and conducts bespoke, quantitative projects in four broad areas: portfolio construction with illiquid assets, real assets, manager selection, and portfolio strategy/strategic asset allocation. IAS papers are available on the IAS website and SSRN.
Our Role:
IAS seeks a Senior Associate to conduct original, empirically driven research and to communicate that research to internal stakeholders and external clients, predominantly large, global institutional investors. The research agenda is dynamic – driven by the evolving concerns of Chief Investment Officers and Asset Allocators – so flexibility and intellectual curiosity are a must. Candidates must possess strong empirical abilities and communications skills, both written and oral. A successful Senior Associate will initially contribute to collaborative projects and, over time, will develop their own research agenda.
Skills & Experience:
• PhD
• Empirical finance, asset pricing, applied macroeconomics, and econometrics
• Strong empirical skills, relevant programming languages, and strong communication skills (written and oral) are required
• Ability to work independently
