The Department of Economics at the Universidad de Chile is seeking up to two faculty members at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants must possess a PhD in Economics by the beginning of the appointment and should show strong research potential and capacity for effective teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Candidates in all fields will be considered. Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae, one research paper and three recommendation letters.

Knowledge of Spanish language is not required, but we expect successful applicants to be able to teach in Spanish within a couple of years following the appointment.
