The Economics and Social Sciences Area at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore seeks to recruit candidates at all levels who have strong research potential/credentials with a particular focus on the following fields:

C01- Econometrics
E- Macro and Monetary Economics
L- Industrial Organisation
O- Economic Development, Innovation, Technological Change, and Growth
Q5 – Environmental Economics


Candidates applying at the Professor/Associate Professor level must have a strong research record with publications in leading journals and have demonstrated academic leadership. Candidates applying at the Assistant Professor level should demonstrate potential in research and teaching.

IIM Bangalore strongly encourages applications from qualified women and reserved category candidates.
