The Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks a full-time (9-month), tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor with teaching and research interests in applied economics. This position is supported by the Dairy Innovation Hub in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (https://dairyinnovationhub.wisc.edu/).
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct nationally recognized research on economic and agribusiness topics relevant to the US and Wisconsin dairy industry, teach undergraduate and graduate courses (two courses per year), and advise graduate and undergraduate students. Areas of specialization could include but are not limited to agricultural production economics, commodity markets, environmental economics, consumer demand, international trade, agricultural policy, agribusiness, community economic development, and related fields.
