The Institute of Health Economics is recruiting a dynamic, experienced Senior Health Economist who can bring expertise and leadership to projects across our portfolio of health economics research.

The work portfolio includes, but is not limited to, conducting economic analysis for the evaluation of multiple areas of healthcare including: public health programs, health technologies, and clinical practice. The role includes opportunities to manage staff, influence the development of our program of work, demonstrate thought leadership in your area of expertise and contribute to the development and delivery of the Economic team’s strategy.

•PhD level qualification in Health Economics or a closely related field
•A minimum of 3 years post-PhD work experience in a relevant role, more experience would be an asset.
•Experience working with a variety of stakeholders , such as government departments, academic researchers, public agencies, health system leaders, clinicians, statisticians, and not-for-profit organizations.
•Excellent oral and written communication for diverse audiences.
•Knowledge of Canadian health care systems and data would be an asset.

Exceptional candidate at the MSc level would be considered with a minimum five years relevant experience and the intention to pursue a PhD level qualification while working with IHE.
