The Energy Institute and the Opportunity Lab are seeking applications for a postdoc in Energy and Environmental Economics at UC Berkeley. This position is part of a new initiative on “Equity in Energy and Environmental Economics,” composed of faculty, graduate, and undergraduate researchers from across UC Berkeley’s campus.

The postdoctoral scholar will be expected to conduct their own original research on environmental and energy economics. The postdoctoral scholar will also be expected to participate in research workshops and provide high-level guidance to graduate students participating in the program, as well as indirectly support the training and mentorship of two cohorts of undergraduate students interested in this field of study.
The scholar will be supervised by Professor Reed Walker (Haas School of Business), Professor Meredith Fowlie (Agricultural and Resource Economics Department), and Professor Solomon Hsiang (Goldman School of Public Policy).
