Le Moyne College, located in Syracuse, N.Y., The Economics Department invites applications from qualified candidates for a full-time, one-year (potentially renewable) appointment in the position of Visiting Assistant Professor, specializing in Applied Microeconomics. In this position, the Visiting Assistant Professor will teach Principles of Microeconomics and an upper-level microeconomics elective course in the College’s Department of Economics. The 3-4 teaching load will include 3 sections of Principles of Microeconomics each semester plus, in the Spring semester, a Microeconomics upper-level course.

Qualified candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in Economics or a related field by the position start date. Qualified candidates must also demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence in an undergraduate liberal arts environment, as well as an active record of research/scholarly activity within the field of study. Le Moyne is committed to engaging and empowering all students through teaching, research, service, and mentoring. Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating successful teaching, as well as an active research agenda.
