The Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University seeks applications for a tenure track position in the finance area. Syms operates on two campuses in New York City and is a part of Yeshiva University, a private institution, consistently ranked among the top 70 US universities by US News. Syms offers business and accounting programs for undergraduates, Masters of Science in Accounting, Taxation, and Real Estate, and an MBA program. We expect to launch a Masters of Finance program and to expand our graduate programs within the next few years. Syms is accredited by AACSB.

Syms stresses interdisciplinary research and cooperation among areas within the school and with our strong economics department.

Applicants must have a PhD in finance or a related field and demonstrate potential for high-quality research including refereed publications in top journals. Applicants must also provide recent evidence of high-quality teaching. Salary and teaching loads are competitive. We will consider applicants in all areas of finance, but a demonstrated ability to teach real estate related courses is a plus.
