The Croft Institute administers the interdisciplinary major in International Studies within the College of Liberal Arts. The appointment will be joint between the Croft Institute and a social science department, with the latter being the tenure home. We encourage applications with a cross-regional research agenda who are also prepared to contribute to our regional concentrations in Latin America or the Middle East/North Africa and possess the foreign language proficiency to conduct research in Spanish or Arabic, respectively. The successful candidates must hold a Ph.D. by the time of hire. Interested candidates should apply online at https://careers.olemiss.edu by uploading a letter of application, CV,, and a statement of research interests.
