Position Overview
Professor Siqi Zheng (personal website here) is seeking motivated, organized, and curious individuals to work on research that investigates topics in environmental economics, sustainable real estate and urban economics.
The position is full-time with a flexible start date from June 2022 to August 2023, with possibility of extension to August 2024. The position will be based at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, MA) in the MIT Center for Real Estate (see website here). The researcher will also interact frequently with researchers within the MIT Sustainable Urbanization Lab (see website here). Researchers at MIT-CRE and MIT-SUL use a combination of large datasets from social media, real estate market transactions, and field experiments to estimate behavioral responses, market mechanisms and policy implications of sustainable cities and real estate.
