The Department of Economics (https://www.lsu.edu/business/economics/) invites applications for a full-time one-year visiting Assistant Professor position to begin in fall 2022. Teaching experience is desirable. The successful applicant will teach a graduate level macroeconomics course (ECON 7717) offered to students in the MS in Financial Economics program and an undergraduate course in Money, Banking, and Economic Activity (ECON 2035) in the fall semester plus 2 sections of ECON 2035 in the spring semester.

Applicants must have a PhD in Economics by August 2022. Associate or Full professors who would like to teach only in the fall semester are also encouraged to apply.

Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. The Department has a strong research orientation and offers B.A., B.S., M.S, and Ph.D. degrees in Economics.
