The School of Economics at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time, one-year position as a Visiting Assistant Professor, beginning August 1, 2022. Teaching responsibilities will consist of four courses for the academic year, and engaging in research and departmental activities. Courses are likely to include a mix of undergraduate and graduate applied statistics and econometrics courses, including potentially research methods at the Ph.D. level. Candidates with econometrics as a secondary field are welcome. A statement of teaching philosophy is required, along with demonstrated excellence in instruction as evidenced by teaching evaluations in relevant courses. Candidates should have a PhD in economics, or all requirements for the Ph.D. degree completed by August 1, 2022.
