The Jain Family Institute (JFI) is an applied research organization in the social sciences. We work to bring just and equitable research and policy from conception in theory to implementation in society. For details about our staff and current projects, see https://www.jainfamilyinstitute.org.

JFI is seeking a Research Manager to lead the partnership and implementation of our empirical research projects. The research team at JFI is currently examining the effects of guaranteed income as a policy alternative to improve economic, social and psychological well-being. Along with affiliated and non-affiliated outside researchers, we are conducting program evaluations to examine effects of an unconditional cash transfer on consumption, labor, social interactions and well-being for city governments in the US and Maricá, Brazil. In connection with our work in higher education finance, we are conducting empirical research on the impacts of alternate financing contracts such as Income Share Agreements (ISAs). Our field research is expected to expand. Among the Research Manager's key responsibilities will be research management, implementation, and analysis.

Master’s degree in economics, public policy, or related disciplines required.
