The Department of Economics of Wake Forest University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin July 1, 2023. The position is open to applicants in economic history using applied microeconomics methods. As a collegiate university dedicated to the Teacher-Scholar model, we are looking for candidates with an active and ambitious research agenda and a commitment to deeply engaged teaching of undergraduate students.

The economics department at Wake Forest is one of the most popular majors in the college and our students are both bright and engaged.
