The L. William Seidman Research Institute, W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, is seeking candidates to fill multiple open rank Research Economist positions.

These are full-time, non-tenure track academic professional appointment with a 12-month fixed term fiscal year contract. Appointments will be made at the rank of Associate Research Economist, Research Economist, or Senior Research Economist. Salary will be commensurate with education, experience and ability to perform some, or all the duties listed at the application link. This position has the ability for a hybrid work arrangement (within Arizona).

Job Description:
Seidman Research Economists conduct economic research for clients in government, business, and university settings. They undertake fiscal and economic impact modeling and implement other “fit-for-purpose” empirical analyses to address client questions and deliver insights of relevance to Arizona and its sub state areas. Research Economists are expected to wrangle and analyze data, write reports, and engage with clients or the press to communicate key findings to general audiences with integrity and objectivity. They frequently work independently on end-to-end execution of a project but can also function as a member of a team depending on experience of the researcher and scope of the project.
