Assistant/Associate/Professor – Managerial Economics (Short Version)
Position
The Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas seeks to fill one tenure/tenure-track, open rank faculty positions in the Managerial Economics (MECO) area. The position is in applied microeconomics, and we are particularly interested in applicants with research interests that complement but broaden those of current MECO group members. The position requires an active agenda of Economics research and publication. In addition, teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate level courses in Economics, as well as service in the UT Dallas and/or professional community.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent and demonstrate their commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service, which includes a strong commitment to principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion. All candidates are expected to work effectively in a highly collaborative, engaging, and dynamic environment comprised of individuals of diverse backgrounds, skills, and perspectives. The appointment commences Fall 2023. Preference will be given to candidates applying for assistant professor appointments. A doctoral degree is required prior to joining; those with ABD status will be considered at the application/interviewing stage. Candidates seeking associate and full professor appointments are expected to have experience and qualifications commensurate with those positions, and a well-established record of research and teaching.
