The Economics and Econometrics stream within the Department of Economics in the Faculty of Arts invites applications for a full-time probationary (tenure-track) appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in Macroeconomics. Candidates must hold a PhD in Economics or be near completion and demonstrate potential of excellence in research and teaching in macroeconomic theory. Preference will be given to candidates specializing in monetary economics.

Responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate teaching in theory in one or more delivery modes, PhD examination in macroeconomics, graduate supervision, service-related activities and an outstanding, innovative, and, as appropriate, externally funded research program.
The appointment may begin on or after July 1, 2023. The salary for the position will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the chosen candidate.
