UM6P is hiring 2 Professors in Macroeconomics, 2 Professors in Econometrics. These positions are leading to the tenure in accordance with the Faculty rules.
The FGSES at UM6P is hiring 1 Associate, 1 full rank position in Macroeconomics, 1 Associate, 1 full rank position in Econometrics. We are interested in applicants having strong backgrounds in the following:

We will consider applicants in the area of macroeconomic modelling with emphasis put on analysis of macroeconomic stabilization policies using Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium models. Researchers working on long-term growth are also encouraged to apply.

Special consideration will be given to candidates with theoretical econometrics background and with an interest/expertise in the application of empirical methods. More information at https://www.fgses-um6p.ma/
Job duties/responsibilities involve teaching/research, typically with 60/40 or 50/50 splits. Faculty research will contribute to our goal of producing research relevant to Africa. Associate and full rank faculty are also expected to raise external funding to support their research activities.
Applicants must have a Doctorate/PhD in economics/equivalent discipline. Associate positions candidates must provide evidence of effective teaching and demonstrable skills in quantitative methods and modeling – with scientific publications in social science disciplines.
All applicants must provide: (i) a detailed CV; (ii) a separate list of publications; (iii) one example of research output; (iv) proof of degree; (v) at least two letters of recommendation; (vi) evidence of effective post-secondary teaching experience (vii) evidence of successful directing of Masters/PhD level research consistent with international standards.
