The Janeway Institute at Faculty of Economics, Cambridge University has two Postdoctoral Research Fellowships available. Eligible candidates include those who have recently been awarded a doctoral degree or expect to receive their degree by September 2023. The Fellowships are for a period of 3 years.

Postdoctoral Research Fellowship - for candidates working on areas of economics related to transmission mechanisms and economic policy. This includes but is not limited to research into the contributions of firms and sectors in the aggregate economy, inquiries into how heterogeneity across households, firms, and other economic factors shapes the economy, and studies of the conduct and impact of monetary and fiscal policy in closed and open economies.

Postdoctoral Research Fellowship - for candidates working on areas of economics related to networks, crowds and markets. This includes but is not limited to research into the dynamics of networks, the relationship between markets, states and community networks; how traditional communities shape the behaviour of individuals and groups in a modern economy and the bargaining, production and exchange in networks, with implications for industrial policy and the regulation of markets. The Fellowship is for 3 years, but shorter appointments can be considered upon request of the candidate.
