The Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership at The City College of New York is searching for an accomplished scholar to become the inaugural endowed Sternberg Family Professor of Leadership. We seek interdisciplinary candidates with expertise and experience focused on civic leadership, global leadership, leadership for social change, or leadership in a democratic society. The Sternberg Family Professor will play a central role in the launch of a new interdisciplinary undergraduate leadership studies program at the Colin Powell School, and we encourage applications.

The Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership is organized on the premise that the future requires globally-minded, diverse leaders who are able to engage in analytically rigorous and evidence-informed debates. We prepare our students with deep training in the social sciences to lead across industries and in every sector with bold re-imaginings of ways to address the injustices and inequities in our world. Producing these leaders is the fundamental mission of the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership at The City College of New York. The Sternberg Family Professor will play a key role in fulfilling this mission.
