Required Qualifications
-Ph.D. in real estate or related discipline from an accredited institution. Equivalent foreign degrees are acceptable.
-An active and nationally/internationally recognized research program with an established record of publications in top-tier real estate journals.

Desired Qualifications
-Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
-Experience in program development.
-Experience mentoring junior faculty and student research.
-A desire to seek and participate in grants that enhance research opportunities and reach.
-Record of success in service and involvement in professional real estate societies and organizations.
-Effective participation in academic service at the Department, College, and University levels.

Appointment
The rank and salary of the position will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience in alignment with Virginia Tech appointment policies. The successful candidate will be considered for tenure at hire based on their record of research and teaching. Salary depends on the candidate’s qualifications and experience and is highly competitive. The position will be located on Virginia Tech’s Blacksburg campus.
