The Research Group CEDON (Centre for Economics and Corporate Sustainability), part of the department ECON-CEDON at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of KU Leuven has a vacancy for a full-time academic position in the field of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility.
Interested candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Applied Economics, Business, Economics or in a related field with demonstrable expertise in the above mentioned areas of specialization. PhD Students in the final phase of their studies may also apply. The position can be filled at the junior (tenure track) or at the senior (tenured) level.
Candidates are expected to have an excellent research record. The quality of the candidate’s research should be demonstrated by publications in top international peer-reviewed journals, promising research projects and work-in- progress papers, and/or international research experience. Junior applicants show their research potential through the quality of their PhD dissertation or job market paper, and academic references. Experience in writing grant proposals and a strong international network are recommended.
You can show evidence of strong didactical skills and preferably have teaching experience. Your written and spoken English is excellent. You have the necessary organizational skills and are a team player, also regarding service duties.
The official administrative language used at KU Leuven is Dutch. If you do not speak Dutch (or do not speak it well) at the start of employment, you can follow language training provided by KU Leuven to enable you to take part in administrative meetings.

You will join a dynamic and internationally oriented research environment. This full-time position initially requires a clear commitment to the study programs offered on the Brussels campus of FEB. Research in the domain can happen in close collaboration with colleagues, also on the other campuses of the FEB. To facilitate scientific onboarding and accelerate research initiatives, a starting grant of 110,000 euro is offered to new professors without substantial other funding.
