Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Department of International Studies at Dickinson College seeks applications for a tenure track, assistant professor position beginning in the academic year 2024-25. The position has a five-course teaching load that includes teaching two sections of Global Economy, a requirement for International Studies majors. The other three courses should be topical electives and seminars on the contemporary world economy that must be accessible to non-economics majors. These topical courses could focus on international development, global energy, the economics of world sustainability, global health economics, or international trade. We encourage candidates whose research and teaching interests address Africa, Asia, Latin America, or the Global South. A completed or nearly completed PhD in Economics or a related field is required.

Applicants should be active scholars with a commitment to teaching undergraduate students in an interdisciplinary liberal arts environment.
