The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts seeks applicants for a junior tenure-track faculty position beginning July 1, 2024, or as soon thereafter as possible. Applicants should hold a PhD in Economics or a closely related field by start date of employment and have strong recommendations from graduate school faculty and established potential in research and teaching in environmental economics. Responsibilities include teaching 1 subject in environmental economics or related topics per term the first year and 1.25 subjects per term thereafter, departmental committee work, and productivity in research.
