Full Text of JOE Listing:

The University of Notre Dame’s Keough School of Global Affairs is looking for tenure track scholars with a strong (policy-relevant) research agenda in the fields of development policy and computational social science.

Development Policy
The ideal candidate for this tenured policy professorship has a strong research agenda focused on poverty and inequality in the context of low- and middle-income countries. Areas of interest include climate change and environmental justice such as climate-induced migration, climate adaptation, just climate transitions, climate-resilient agriculture systems, equitable natural resource management, climate financing, and resource mobilization. Scholars with experience in development policy with international organizations, governments or non-governmental organizations are encouraged to apply.

Computational Social Science
The ideal candidate for this open rank tenure-track position has a strong research focus on business and society, with expertise in methods such as machine learning, network analysis, system dynamics or big-data analytics and visualization with a strong research agenda focused understanding the role and impacts of business policies, practice and performance in society with a particular focus on public policy interventions to address challenges of human development, persistent poverty and growing inequality.
