The Department of Supply Chain Management; Haslam College of Business and the Howard H. Baker Jr. School of Public Policy and Public Affairs at the University of Tennessee (UT), Knoxville seeks applications for a Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor.

This position is part of a university-wide Mobility cluster hiring initiative with goals to establish UT and the state of Tennessee as global innovation leaders in the advanced mobility economy. The primary responsibility of the faculty hire is to conduct groundbreaking research that will strengthen UT’s mobility innovation ecosystem. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated success in developing collaborative and funded research activities.

The position has an objective to lead a research agenda in Transportation Economics and Policy. The ideal candidate will have interests in state and federal transportation policy, transportation economics, economic development, transportation sustainability policy, computational methods for transportation research, policy, safety, and/or behavioral transportation research.

This is a 9-month, tenure track position with 75% research and teaching appointment in the Supply Chain Management Department and 25% research appointment in the Baker School for Public Policy and Public Affairs.
