The School of Business at IU Kokomo seeks candidates for a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Economics starting Spring/Fall 2024. Teaching responsibilities will primarily consist of introductory microeconomics, macroeconomics, and business statistics. Experience teaching in multiple modalities is preferred. Job duties include an expectation of research and service. The teaching responsibility is three courses per fall and spring semester.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Economics or a related Business field, preferably from an AACSB accredited institution. ABDs will be considered, but the candidates must have earned a Ph.D. within a year of the appointment date. Candidates must possess a record of excellent university-level teaching and evidence of the ability to conduct research commensurate with being considered for promotion and tenure. Faculty should also be dedicated to experiential student learning and professional development, provide service to the school, university, and community.
