The Department of Economics of Rutgers University-New Brunswick invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in microeconomic theory. We seek applicants whose research is in economic theory, with primary interest in subfields with the potential to complement applied work, such as public economic theory, industrial organization, or behavioral/experimental/computational economics. The successful candidate will join a group with research interests in traditional microeconomic theory, including game theory, information economics, and decision theory, as well as behavioral, experimental, computational and neuro-economic approaches. The position involves teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the field of Economics or a closely related field, with a start date of 9/1/2024.

Successful completion of a PhD or equivalent in Economics or related field is required by the start date.
