50-60 Max Weber Postdoctoral Positions
Amongst the largest, most prestigious, innovative and successful post doctoral programmes in the historical and social sciences, the Max Weber Programme is located in an exceptionally beautiful setting with truly outstanding research and training facilities. As a multidisciplinary programme, we offer fully funded postdoctoral fellowships to applicants from anywhere in the world in the fields of economics, history, law and social and political sciences.

Applicants must be within 5 years of the award of their PhD. More than 90% of Fellows find an academic position on completing the Fellowship.


Up to 20 Jean Monnet Fellowships
The Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies offers Jean Monnet Fellowships for scholars who have obtained their doctorate more than 5 years prior to the start of the fellowship. The programme is open to post-docs, tenure track academics and those wishing to spend their sabbatical at the Robert Schuman Centre, a lively and creative academic community.

Candidates’ research proposal should fit well with one of the Centre’s main research themes, programmes and projects.
