Job Description & Qualification

School of Economics and Management (SEM) at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) invites applications for either tenure-track or tenured full-time faculty positions in the upcoming academic year, starting in June 2023.

Any field. Our preferred areas of specializations are – but are not limited to – economics, finance, management science, business administration, statistics and data science, digital economy and virtual commerce.

Tenure-track candidates should have a Ph.D. degree and generally three years or more of overseas scientific research experience upon joining UCAS. However, for those who are outstanding in scientific research, the requirements for overseas working years can be waived, but the candidates need to have 1 to 3 published or accepted papers in top tier journals in related fields.

Tenured candidates should have a Ph.D. degree and a demonstrably strong research record, be engaged in important cutting-edge research and have demonstrated effectiveness in teaching.
