The Economics Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for a position in applied microeconomics at the Assistant Professor (tenure-track) level (JPF01611). We welcome applications from candidates in all related fields within applied microeconomics.
The Economics Department has a Ph.D. program, a professional M.S. program, and several undergraduate programs. Applicants will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; advise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students; contribute to graduate education, the research environment of the department, and to university and professional service. The department is particularly interested in candidates who can add research, policy, and teaching depth to the business management and economics program. The ideal candidate will also add to the department’s contributions to campus initiatives in data science and critical data studies.
