The Department of Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Quinnipiac University invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor with a focus on Economics and Data Science. The anticipated start date of the position is August 2024, with a potential option of starting earlier January 2024.
We are looking for a dynamic, student-oriented educator who is deeply committed to excellence in teaching and to the broader academic community. This role offers the opportunity to teach a diverse portfolio of courses, mentor students, and contribute to departmental initiatives.
Responsibilities:
-Teach four courses per semester, ranging from foundational to advanced courses in Economics, with the potential to contribute to our expanding Data Science program
-Advise and mentor students to help them achieve their academic and career goals
-Participate actively in service activities, such as committee work, that help advance the mission and values of the program, department, college, and university
