Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Department of Economics seeks applicants for an open rank tenure-track faculty position in empirical microeconomics to begin August 16, 2024. The department has research and teaching needs in industrial organization, labor economics, and political economy. Candidates with expertise to teach machine learning, artificial intelligence, and/or structural methods at both the undergraduate and graduate levels are especially encouraged to apply.
The position requires a doctoral degree in economics or closely related field by the start date of employment. Candidates at the Associate Professor level must have at least 6 years of academic and/or industry experience by the start date of employment, a record of high-impact research, and demonstrated excellence in teaching.
