The Department of Economics invites applications for an Open Rank Tenure-Track/Tenured faculty position in Applied Econometrics beginning in Fall 2024. The candidate should be interested in and capable of teaching courses in Applied Econometrics at both the undergraduate and Ph.D. levels. We especially welcome applicants whose research analyzes big data and/or uses machine learning methods, and research topics addressing climate change or other global concerns. Excellence in teaching is required. For tenured applicants, past experience in securing grants and external funding is highly valued. Appointment as an assistant professor requires completion of the Ph.D. prior to August 15, 2024.
