The Center for Child Health Services Research in the Mindich Child Health and Development Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai invites applications for tenure-track Assistant and Associate Professor faculty positions
About Us: The new Center will serve as the primary locus at The Icahn School of Medicine for research dedicated to leveraging large data and human creativity to advance the effectiveness and value of the healthcare system for children. We are committed to the sharing of rigorous interdisciplinary ideas, methodologies, data, and mentorship, to enhance productivity and creativity for investigators—both within and outside the Center.
Position Overview: We seek to recruit creative early and mid career health services investigators with research foci in the following domains: 1) Providers, Payers, & Policy; 2) Value & Effectiveness; or 3) Access & Equity.
Qualifications:
MD or PhD in health services research or related discipline, including but not limited to economics, health policy, public health, medicine, nursing, social work etc.
Record of scholarly achievement
Capacity for innovative/creative thought
Commitment to collaboration with peers and interdisciplinary teams to address complex healthcare system challenges for pregnancy women and children
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, annual base salary range: $120,000-$300,000.
