The FSU Economics Department invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professors to join the department in Fall 2024, subject to available funding. The Department seeks candidates who demonstrate clear potential to produce frontier research in econometrics and applied econometrics, complementing areas of strength in the Department such as public, labor, health, economic history, innovation, industrial organization, or urban economics.

The successful candidates must show evidence of the potential to produce internationally recognized research (at the Assistant level) or have a strong track record of scholarship (at the advanced Assistant level). The successful candidates will also be expected to fulfill usual teaching and service responsibilities. Completion of all requirements for the PhD before the date of hire is expected.
