The Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise at Florida Southern College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Economics at the rank of Assistant or Associate professor for Fall 2024. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate (and possibly graduate) topics such as principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, money and banking, labor, environmental, industrial organizational, and public economics. The normal teaching load is three (3) four-hour courses per semester. An interest in teaching excellence, engaged learning and appreciation for free enterprise and entrepreneurial values is important.

The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Economics from an accredited institution and be a "Scholarly Academic” consistent with AACSB standards and have the ability to publish in quality peer-reviewed journals.
